Hardest skills in DoTA

Here I compiled a list of hardest skills in DoTA, based on a vote conducted in a forum:

Pudge’s hook

Description: Launches a bloody hook at a unit or location. The hook will snag the first target it encounters, dealing damage then dragging the victim back to the Butcher
Cooldown: 14 sec

Why it’s hard: Pudge will only snag the first target that his hook touches. This means, you can’t click and target any enemy unit without predicting its movement or you might end up hooking your own creep. At level4 it has a range of 1000, so you can use it to blindly hook the running enemy from the fog of war.

Tiny’s Toss

Description: Grabs a nearby unit, friend or foe, and launches at a location up to [500-1100] units away. Upon impact the units in the area will take [75-300] damage, with the projectile taking 20% of that damage (this damage increases as your size increases)
Coodown: 15 sec

Why it’s hard: You can’t directly target the unit that you want to toss because Tiny will randomly grab any unit near him. Plus, the place you want the enemy to be tossed must be a unit, not ground. It’s either you use blink to move behind the enemy or cast Avalanche to stun the enemy first and get in your position before start tossing.

Tiny toss

Mirana’s Elune’s Arrow

Description: Fires an arrow to a location with deadly precision, dealing large damage and stunning the first unit it strikes. Stun duration increases based on how far the target is, ranging from 0.5 to 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 25 sec

Why it’s hard: Elune’s Arrow and Pudge’s hooks are using basically the same concept-hitting the first unit it strikes. On the other hand, Elune’s Arrow only hits enemy units, reveals the fog of war, has lower mana cost and extremely large range.

Meepo’s Earthbind and Poof

Description: Rains earthen spikes across a target area, pinning down all enemy units in the 225 AOE. Last 2 seconds.[500-1250] casting range.
Cooldown: 20/16/12/8

Description: Drawing mystical energies from the earth, Meepo can teleport to another Geomancer, leaving destruction in his wake. After channeling for 2 seconds, Meepo instantly teleports to nearest target Geomancer, dealing [40-160] damage in 400 AOE in the departure and arrival locations.
Cooldown: 20/18/16/14

Why this combo is hard: You must predict enemy’s movement before casting Earthbind. Even though you manage to trap the enemy, it only last for 2 seconds, barely enough time for you to cast Poof. But remember, you have 4 Meepos so it’s impossible to Poof all the Meepos at the same time unless you are an AI.

P/S: My choices would be Pudge’s hook and Tiny’s toss. It’s fun to watch your hopeless enemy being hook/thrown into death zone.
