Liar Game

I noticed that there’s a new jdrama uploaded by my seniors into our shared network. Sometimes it makes me wonder where they got the drama from.

The drama, titled Liar Game is played by Toda Erika as Kanzaki Nao and Matsuda Shota as Akiyama Shinichi. The story begins with Kanzaki receiving large amount of money and accidentally joined a Liar Tournament, a game where players cheat each other to gain more money. The problem with Kanzaki is, she’s the most honest girl in town, making it’s impossible for her to lie.

Her first opponent was her own high school teacher. Being so naive, the teacher easily trapped her and stole all the money she got. Confused and frustrated, Nao met Akiyama, a genius swindler to help her get the money back. Then the game continues…

This is a psychological thriller drama. So if you enjoy watching SAW or Death Note, you might love this. You might find there are lots of similarities between this drama and Kurosagi. Here are some parts taken from the drama.
